Already viral on Tiktok and destined to reach stratospheric heights, ‘Pound Town’ is the firstborn offspring of two uncompromising charismatic talents, as producers/selectors Skream & Partiboi69 let loose their single on [HARD Recs], out now.
With the two trailblazers becoming mates in 2020 - Skream went B2B with Partiboi on his infamous ‘Live From The Stingzone’ and hosted Partiboi on Skreamizm events – a collab was inevitable, recorded last summer in the Insomniac LA studios in the down time between Coachella.
‘Pound Town’: the typically risqué title and the result of two major talents combining the wealth of genres they’ve mastered and having a lot of fun doing it, results in a dangerously catchy collection of irresistible hooks, bouncy bass, synth melody with an 80s vibe, and robotic vocal which will be sung compulsively on mornings-after for some time to come.
Skream is a multi-skilled, multi-genred producer with deep roots in UK electronic music culture.
