There are artists who, in order to go beyond their sound, have to get rid of their original name and create another, but then there are others who, in order to go further, have to rediscover themselves, to create a sound whose starting point is not born. both of the attempt to cross borders and recover them. This is the case of producer Austher, who has recently released "Resilience" on his label
Mélopée.
The Toulouse scene is really flourishing. Austher is an exemplary case, another artist with undeniable talent and also one of the bosses of the excellent French label Ulla Records.
We don't know where to post his latest work, as he is capable of navigating between various genres with ease and mastery. We could say that his cut of retro-futuristic electronica is the most honest and eclectic to date. This latest work, so narrative and cinematographic, invites us to enjoy it both at home and on the dance floor.
In such a complex and chaotic moment, in the midst of a pandemic, "Resilience" becomes a place as wonderful as it is necessary.
