Huebl's new record is a masterclass in techno production, since this dropped in my inbox it has been in my top 10. Blending the sounds of "Detroit and late 90s anthems" in the words of the artist.
"Lean On You" features the catchy vocals of Jahson the Scientist to great effect. Huebl's use of a classic Roland TR-909 shuffled grooves, and warm and inviting synthwork throughout the EP draws you in. This, coupled with the artist's signature sense of humor, makes "Prdct 01" a high point so far in 2023.
