Science-savvy/classically-trained multi-instrumentalist/composer Lawrence Hart drops emotionally charged yet dancefloor-catchy cut ‘Hear Ur Heartbeat’ on Domino’s Double Six, out now.
The London-based producer further cements his relationship with Domino’s Double Six with ‘Hear Ur Heartbeat’. Previous Double Six singles ‘Just Belong’ and two Giulia Tess collabs won tastemaker support inc. Lauren Laverne, Jess Iszatt, Jaguar, Jack Saunders, Floating Points on NTS, Rinse, DMY, Mixmag’s Top Tracks of 2024 so far, plus heavy playlist uptake inc. an Altar cover slot. Hart also has a long-standing relationship as a producer with fellow Double Six/Domino artist George FitzGerald. Hart, whose science-fed needle-sharp producing creates emotion-stirring vibes and club-friendly beats, previously released on Attack Decay Sweet Release, LG105, & his own SSEM label.
Hear Ur Heartbeat: alternating with softly heart-snaring synth chords and a pitch-shifted, otherworldly vocal comes fast, skittering percussion, a bouncing beat, the synth sharpened into riff, all creating an ambience of euphoria with a subtle sting of melancholy. A perfect late summer/autumn track for when the dancefloor is dreamy with blissed-out clubbers.
