Few acts in electronic music manage to capture the elusive spirit of the moment like N/UM. The New York-based live trio (comprised of Grammy-winning engineer and producer Jeremy Loucas, guitarist Elias Meister and Danish multi-instrumentalist Emil Bovbjerg) have made a name for themselves through fully improvised sets, composed and performed in real time using analog synthesizers, modular systems, drum machines, guitar and voice. With no pre-written material, no fixed arrangements and no overdubs, their music is a direct line from intuition to sound.

Their rare and radical approach has earned them a reputation as pioneers of live electronic expression – with appearances at acclaimed festivals and events such as Mutek Montréal, Fusion Festival, Robot Heart and Movement Detroit. Their new EP 'Fade The Heart' continues this uncompromising ethos. Recorded in one emotionally charged session, the release is a four-part journey through groove-driven minimalism, textured synthesis and hypnotic sonic storytelling.
