French composer Lucie Antunes expands her sonic horizons with her fun second album Carnaval. Following the critical success of 2019's Sergei, the classically trained drummer and percussionist releases a lush, electronically oriented follow-up, packed with positive praise and designed for the dancefloor.
Lucie has been developing a name for some time with music that spans multiple genres. Diversity in music is at the core of it. Lucie's sound has a common characteristic recognized by recurring themes; nostalgia, melody and cosmic depth, which draws you in, but without losing energy.
We are facing a serious work, carefully cared for, which lends itself to starting it and not returning to reality until it is finished: the headphones are like the oxygen cylinder that allows you to dive to the bottom of this great sound rotation, of this orbit cosmic, and be there in a state of hypnotic fascination.
On 23 November, Lucie Antunes is bringing her “Carnaval” to Barcelona. She will be performing the album live at Laut at the Infiné label night.
Her live shows are an infectious and joyous display of club music with an organic sensibility and entrance is free, so reserve your spot now!
