JULY 18, 2025—Brazilian house music cornerstones Maz and Viot join forces with Anduze for a radiant new single “Ocean,” out today via Dawn Patrol.
“Ocean” rides a tight, rolling bassline with a breezy, coastal feel—clean, minimal, and full of space to move. Anduze’s vocal, “Take me to the ocean, wash me in your water, drown me in emotion,” taps into a desire to let go, be cleansed, and connect with something deeper, whether that’s another person, a dancefloor, or the ocean itself. The track perfectly captures the surf-meets-rave spirit at the core of Dawn Patrol, blurring the lines between nature and nightlife and centering on a sense of community. That same spirit drives the mission behind the label and event series co-founded by Maz and Antdot, which curates coastal parties and sunrise sets where ravers and surfers come together under open skies.
Following a massive Dawn Patrol event in São Paulo, Maz embarked on a busy European summer tour, bringing Dawn Patrol to Paris last week and Lisbon on September 7. During this time, he’s also appearing on Ibiza lineups with BLOND:ISH and Camelphat at separate Pacha events, and Michael Bibi’s Solid Grooves crew at DC-10.
As one of the fastest-rising names in global dance music, Maz has surged from Brazil’s underground scene to top-tier North American festivals like Coachella, EDC, Electric Forest, and more. With a growing international fanbase, 580k+ followers across Instagram and TikTok, and streaming hits like “Amana,” "Banho de Folhas," and “Jolie Fille” in his discography, he’s become a defining voice in the new wave of Brazilian house. Viot, the stage name of Lauro Viotti, is a Brazilian DJ and music producer who, in just three years, has gained international recognition for his unique blend of Bossa Nova, Brazilian Hip Hop, Pop, House, and Techno. His tracks — including Confession, FMF, Pop It Low, and So Far So Good — have been supported by major names like Jamie Jones, Michael Bibi, The Martinez Brothers, Marco Carola, and Diplo. Space Cowboy reached #68 on Beatport’s Overall Top 100, while his version of Blitz (Você Não Soube Me Amar) hit #51, marking the launch of his label, Casa Bonita Records.
