Natascha Polké announces forthcoming 5 track EP ‘Dawn’ on Universal

With 50 million+ combined streams so far, Swiss producer/live artist/singer/songwriter Natascha Polké is famed for blending indie songwriting with emotional, melodic house and club-ready beats. To showcase her many-sided talent, her new 5-track EP ‘Dawn’ will drop 7^th November on Universal Music Switzerland, heralded by emotional single ‘Find Me’, out now. Previous EP single ‘Ghost’ bagged 500 spins in 2 months, inc. longtime supporter Sian Eleri on BBC Radio 1’s Chillest Show, RTE 2FM, Amazing Radio, FM Delta (AR)… Not interested in fitting into one category, Polké’s sound moves between club-driven beats, nostalgic deep house and experimental textures shaped in long studio sessions.

Forthcoming EP ‘Dawn’ reflects her creative range and the freedom that comes with not being boxed in; united by her vocals, now intimate and vulnerable, now bold and hooky. As well as ‘Ghost’, recently released are title track ‘Dawn’, dark, pulsing club fuel representing her Swiss underground DJ roots, while new single ‘Find Me’ is emotional, unstructured, harmonic. Still dancefloor-ready, ‘Everybody Knows’ celebrates her songwriting, its catchy topline floating over the beat. The fifth track will drop with the full EP. 

Single ‘Find Me’: piano chord patterns support her breathy, tentative voice with its emotional edge, against a hissing like rainfall or radio interference, before a breaksy beat, muffled percussion, dark insistent bass give a cinematic sweep to an intimate self-revealing song between contemplative passages, a feat achieved by understated but pin-sharp production skills.

Natascha Polké has built global recognition with releases on [PIAS] Électronique, Anjunadeep, This Never Happened, Stil vor Talent, Gardens of Babylon, and now Universal Music Switzerland. Her live shows have taken her across Europe, North America, and Asia, from supporting Kiasmos and Christian Löffler on tour to playing festivals like Fusion, Zürich Openair, ADE, and a standout Cercle show in LA. Next up, Natascha embarks on her headline tour across European metropolitan cities.
