Pre-order/Preview the EP HERE

Pont Neuf was founded in 2016 by young Parisian Thomas Prunier and is now a major player in the French underground. It has platformed many new school stars and helped to define the contemporary house sound through its releases, residency at Rex Club and numerous events at Concrete, Badaboum, Djoon, Sacré, Virage, and many others. This new collection showcases the artistic diversity that has made the label so renowned and such an essential outlet for electronic music lovers in France and beyond.

Prunier explains, "Compilations have always been a playground for me as a label manager. They reflect our current scene and the artists who best represent it. I hope listeners will rediscover these feelings while listening to this latest volume of the 'Hexagonal Club' series."

The compilation kicks off with Klo & Lyss's 'Dreamy,' a hypnotic journey into the dance euphoria of the Lebanese sunrises from which they hail with dreamy pads and a progressive rhythm. Maison Blanche continues with 'The Best Of Times,' a vibrant tribute to the sounds of the '90s with characteristic piano and soulful vocals, followed by Berzingue's 'Once Again,' which explores the boundaries of club music with a compelling blend of deep tech and house. Ams then delivers 'Dynamo,' a perfect synthesis of house, dance, and modern trance capturing the energy of the dancefloor, while Mira Ló takes dancers away with 'Night Walk,' a funky and ethereal melody evoking memories of nights spent dancing. Tour-Maubourg's 'No Purpose Groove' explores the pure sounds of New York and Chicago house music with a minimalist and hypnotic groove.

With 'You Can’t Understand,' THEOS blends deep vocals and rhythmic tension in an enchanting tech-house groove. Mangabey ignites the dancefloor with 'Cops Not Copain,' a rave explosion with UKG accents. Dylan Dylan brings a breakbeat touch with 'On My Mind,' mixing percussive rhythms and luxurious house melodies, KX9000 plunges into the world of French Touch with 'Pitstop, a clear reference to the Roulé era, while Cosmonection envelops in soft melodies with 'Moonlight' evoking the arrival of daybreak at a summer open-air party. Finally, DJ Psychiatre concludes with 'Mister Rhodes,' a captivating track featuring the legendary Rhodes Piano and a magnetic guitar solo.

Hexagonal Club Vol. 5 arrives digitally and on vinyl via Pont Neuf Records on September 6, 2024, preceded by a series of samplers over the summer months.
