PRODUCER ISH D BEGINS 2023 REVIVAL WITH DISCO HOUSE TUNE, “Just Keep Loving Me”

Los Angeles-based producer Ish D brings a stout resume in the world of music, and after a brief hiatus he’s ready to share what he’s been working on.

“Just Keep Loving Me,” out February 22nd, revives the excitement for his disco-flavored house, and previews a vault of forthcoming music being rolled out in 2023.

Utilizing 80’s influenced Funk and Soul, Ish D intentionally pulls from his Southern heritage in an effort to create a space in dance music that’s more inviting to black and brown youth. This mission is one of the many things that set this virtuoso apart in Post Disco and the creative community of today.

Quote from Ish D:

“My whole approach when making dance music, and house music specifically, is making sure the culture and the bounce are forever intact continuing to make the black and brown youth dance”

Raised in West Texas, Ish D developed an obsession for beat tapes early on. He began producing music at the tender age of 13 after discovering FruityLoops (FL Studio). Growing up, his ears were influenced by the latest and elusive unreleased mixtapes his older cousins would show him and the records of Anita Baker, Kool G Rap, and Parliament that his parents would play at home.

As he settled in Dallas, where his career began to thrive, Ish D garnered national success including production credits with artists such as Lil’ Wayne, Snow Tha Product, and a considerable list of television and film syncs (ABC, NFL, Criminal Minds, et al). While his success as a hip-hop producer was influenced by Swizz Beatz and The-Dream, Ish D’s passion for his own project of house records and remixes has been inspired by producers such as Daft Punk, Conducta, and Moon Boots.

In 2014, the producer decided to pivot to the house music that had long inspired him, and began writing his first electronic-focused project. In August of 2018, he released his debut album, Marina’s Melody. His music has been supported by fans and peers alike, opening for acts such as Coco & Breezy, Eli & Fur, John Summit, Bleu Clair, and Todd Edwards.

Now based in Los Angeles, California, Ish D has been finishing a body of work that includes collaborations and features with other artists that will release as consecutive singles and an extended play in 2023. “Just Keep Loving Me” is the first tease of what’s to come.
