Ry Hill Bio
Los Angeles-bred, Brooklyn-based producer/DJ Ry Hill, born Cameron DeFaria, first started
gaining traction in 2016 by uploading remixes to SoundCloud. Since then, Hill has become a
reputable electronic tastemaker in LA's thriving club scene. Having earned co-signs from
renowned music publications Dancing Astronaut, Acid Stag, We Rave You, Early Rising, and
FUXWITHIT, among others, Hill's infectious "indie house" sound is continually hooking in listeners
and expanding his global audience.
In February 2023, Hill issued his first-ever label backed single, “Ascension,” via Ibiza imprint
Haustronaut Recordings. Newly added to the impressive roster of FRNDS MGMT (Alison
Wonderland, Crooked Colours), Hill is in the midst of rolling out his debut album, Death by
Distraction. Thus far, album inclusions “Lost In My Sentiments,” “Otherside,” “Distracted,” and
now “In Touch,” have landed on streaming platforms.
