Spanish DJ, model, designer, and fashion icon Sita Abellán has announced the second edition of OUTOPIA, her residency at INPUT Dance Club in Barcelona, taking place on Saturday November 5th. A haven for techno and rave music, OUTOPIA is designed as an inclusive space hosting female and non-dinary lineups.
Sita Abellán has DJ’ed some of the most cutting edge dance floors around the world, from Ibiza’s DC10 & Hï Ibiza, to Las Vegas’ Art of the Wild, Sonar Festival, Rumors, Miami Music Week, It’ll Do in Dallas, and Secret Project ADE, as well as for cutting edge brands like Alyx, Misbhv, Jeremy Scott and 032C. A fierce supporter of global femme and LGBTQ+ culture, she's performed at Barcelona's Loom Festival and is a favorite of the He.She.They crew.
As a DJ, Sita’s love of historical techno, industrial and electro sounds is paired with a fierce fascination for the new and current, channeling rave psychedelic with dark industrial influences.
Headlined by Sita, second edition of OUTOPIA will feature Spanish producer/DJ Cora Novoa, an artist on Tiga’s Turbo Recordings label, and director/Founder of SEEKING THE VELVET, an independent record label of electronic and experimental-pop music). OUTOPIA will also feature Barcelona based hardstyle / trance DJ Drazzit, co-founder and resident of MUSA, an emerging queer platform from Barcelona that aims to give visibility mainly to LGBTQ+ and female artists. Also on the lineup is hard techno producer/DJ Lee Ann Roberts, the South African born Amsterdam based who has played Secret Solstice in Iceland to BPM festival and more.
Located in the heart of Poble Espanyol, INPUT Dance Club is one of Barcelona’s hottest techno spaces.
