Following his acclaimed debut album ‘Vertigo Of Eternity’ released towards the end of 2024 on Otherness, ‘Prometheus Rising’ EP and his collaboration with Lux on the ‘Aurora’ EP, Hermetics releases his first new single which sees him create a more dreamy, sumptuous sound. Hermetics has previously released on R&S Records, Optimo Music, ZZK Records (with Nicola Cruz), Multi Culti, and Wonderwheel Records, amongst other labels.
Hermetics says: “'Renaissance' was ironically created during a very dark and confusing period of my life, a time that many refer to as "The Dark Night of the Soul." After years of struggling with drug addiction and other personal battles, I was finally reaching rock bottom when I wrote this song. But I didn’t compose it with any particular intention in mind. In fact, I changed the title three times before I settled on Renaissance, for no specific reason. Now, looking back, clean from addictions and with my life on the right path, I realize it’s as if I had somehow channeled my future self. This song now makes perfect sense. I dedicate it to everyone battling addiction, and I hope it serves as a source of inspiration to seek a better life and reconnect with your soul."
