V/A: Manufacturers of Modern Dancefloor Weaponry [Tribal Pulse]

Boom Merchant’s record label, Tribal Pulse, presents a dynamic techno compilation featuring tracks by Calum Connell, Fractious, Fragile X, Hockins, Homma Honganji, Iluna, Moog Conspiracy, Obsidian Wave, and Boom Merchant.

‘Manufacturers of Modern Dancefloor Weaponry’ is a 10-track compilation featuring genres ranging from deep, raw and hypnotic, to breakbeats. Many of the artists such as Fragile X, Hockins, Homma Honganji, and Obsidian Wave, are Tribal Pulse regulars, but many have also featured on other prestigious imprints such as Kneaded Pains, KD RAW, Sway, Tronic, CMND CTRL, Diffuse Reality, and Autektone Dark.

Iluna is a brand-new artist making her first official release with her contribution to the compilation, which celebrates the landmark 50th release on Tribal Pulse.

Tribal Pulse has been a regular outlet for Boom Merchant who is an Irish artist currently based in Mexico. Most of the artists on the release are based in the UK or Ireland, but Moog Conspiracy is from Germany, Lefrenk's from Spain, Hockins’ from Ukraine, and Homma Honganji from Japan.

This is an eclectic selection that centres around deep vibes, tribal tones, dark textures, industrial drums, and thickset basslines. There are also atmospheric tracks with dystopian moods, and experimental tracks infused with jazzy machine funk.
