Hidden far away among mountains and plains, there is a man who solved every problem. He made everyone’s dream come true, and is finally ready to open his secrets to the world. Yssue's debut album, the short guide ‘How to Survive a Bad Trip’, is your first step into a new life, where negativity does not exist - only pure joy and enlightenment.
Crossing the boundaries of club cultures, with heavy use of post-rave breakbeats, trippy acid, dubby interludes and intricate sound design, this album is an ode to the nightclub experience, where we escape the daily stresses. The religious sect, often entered to evade harsh realities, appear strikingly synonymous. Within the tracklist, you will discover the narrative of one fateful night, presented in the form of a guide for the assumed hero (that's you).
‘How To Survive A Bad Trip’ is available as a physical package including a K7 tape, a vivid religious pamphlet and high quality prints portraying the history of Yssue’s religious cult and its devoted followers, as well as an A2 poster of the artwork.
Global Warming Records is run by Franco-British producer and talent seeker Malcolm, who imagines and shapes each project hand in hand with his artists. Global Warming just won the Ed Banger & Trax Magazine prize for the most promising electronic labels. How To Survive A Bad Trip’ will be the label’s 20th release.
